What we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, device identifiers other than the anonymous ID below, or data from other apps on your device.
Information we collect
The App works without requiring an account. To provide and improve the ripeness-detection feature, we collect short audio recordings of taps, watermelon photographs, prediction metadata including verdict, confidence score and optional feedback, plus an anonymous Firebase Authentication identifier that groups sessions from the same device without identifying you personally.
How we use this information
We use this information to run the ripeness analysis on each watermelon you scan and to improve model accuracy over time by reviewing patterns in collected recordings and verdicts in aggregate. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, or use it to track you across other apps or websites.
Where your data is stored
All collected data is stored in Google Firebase services — Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Firebase Cloud Storage — operated by Google LLC. Servers are located in the United States, in the us-central1 region. Google’s processing of this data is governed by Google’s privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Audio recordings, photographs, and session metadata are retained for analysis purposes. You may request deletion of all data associated with your anonymous identifier at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to request a copy of any data we hold linked to your anonymous identifier, request deletion of all data linked to your anonymous identifier, and withdraw consent for future data collection by uninstalling the App. To exercise these rights, email buttekhasupport@delv.com with your request and the anonymous identifier you wish to act on.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the App and we should delete their data, contact buttekhasupport@delv.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change.
App legal notes
Entertainment only
Buttekha gives a playful AI prediction about a watermelon. Results may be wrong and should not be relied on for health, safety, resale, commercial sorting, or any decision where accuracy matters.
Acceptable use
Use the App only for lawful personal entertainment. Do not misuse the App, interfere with its systems, upload harmful content, or attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the service.
Submitted content
When you use the App, you provide tap audio, watermelon photos, prediction feedback, and related session data so Buttekha can run and improve the prediction feature. The Privacy Policy explains how this data is collected and handled.
Third-party services
Buttekha uses Google Firebase services for authentication, database, and storage. Those services are operated by Google LLC and may process data according to Google’s own policies.
Availability, changes, and liability
Contact Buttekha support and include your anonymous identifier if your request relates to stored app data.
